Join us on Saturday 4/23/11 from 6pm -9pm at Sangria’s inside The Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center for an evening of Dominoes, Spades, Pool, food, drinks, and cigars!
For the members in attendance we will also conduct our 2nd Annual Cigar Swap where each participating member will bring a box of their favorite cigars to swap out with everyone else. What a great way to boost your cigar game!
By the way, for a few of us the fun on Saturday will start in the early morning when we sponsor a hole at the 1st Annual Mesa Youth Football Golf Tournament. We will once again raffle off a beautiful humidor (this time a Cuban Wheel Humidor) with proceeds going to a great cause!The Tournament will be held at The Augusta Ranch Golf Course so if you are in the area and want to lend your support, come by between 7am and noon. On Friday, January 28th, several members attended the Suns/Celtics game at The US Airways Center, and guess what? The won!!!
Prior to the game, we met at Coach & Willie’s for some great food and then headed over to Doc’s Place after the game. We danced the night away and joyfully celebrated the victory with the Suns. Go Suns!!!

Several of us made the pilgrimage to what has become the event of chioce for many a cigar enthusiast…Cigar Aficionado’s Big Smoke at the Venetian in Vegas. Attendees’ admission entitled them to 29 Cigars (Rocky Patel, CAO, AVO, Arturo Fuente, A. Torrent, La Gloria Cubana, Alec Bradley, Ashton, Hoyo de Monterey, Oliva, Padron, Hammer + Sickle, Camacho, Casa magna, Cusano, Nub, and more), food from several of Vegas’ finest restaurants, and great spirits from Macallan, Glenmorangie, Ron Zacapa Rum, Appleton’s Rum, Bombay Sapphire, Patron, Hennessey, Courvoisier XO to name a few. We had a great time and made some outstanding contacts for the club as a whole. We look forward to traveling to many more of these events together…
