A HUGE thanks to Ron Johnson of Naturell Rum for making his rum available for our members to taste on Saturday the 28th of August. We held our August member event in the private room at Maduro’s Fine Cigars in South Chandler (4991 S. Alma School Rd) and it was arguably one of our best events to date! In addition to the tasting we, of course, had fine cigars available to us for purchase from Maduro’s and we raffled off a 75th Anniversary Montecristo Humidor! Stay tuned for information on The BFCS Game Night to be held on Saturday, September 25th.

We had the awesome pleasure of hosting our 1st Anniversary Bash at Shadows inside the new Talking Stick Resort and what a night it was! The members in attendance loved it and the guests that were there were awed by what we as a group were able to put together.
Many thanks to Brad Berko from The Scottsdale Cigar Club, Charles Alexander from Imago Style, Hugo Medina and Chadwick Haverland…two exceptional artists, Jean Paul Jeune, Gregg Frazier, Planet Beach Contempo Spa, All Star Framing, and of course Talking Stick Resort for making this event special for all in attendance. Description: What a year it has been! Come out to celebrate our 1st year…find out where we’ve been, where we are, and where we are going. This event promises to be quite an experience for members and guests alike. This event will be $20 in advance for BFCS members and $40 for non-members…$50 at the door. Ticket price includes a 5 cigar bundle, food, live musical entertainment, 1 raffle ticket (6-month membership to The Scottsdale Cigar Club (locker rental), desktop humidor, travel humidors, spa certificates, restaurant certificates, 1 year BFCS membership, etc will be raffled throughout the evening), and a complimentary beverage for BFCS members at the beginning of the evening. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to The Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley. Come out, have fun, and support a great local organization!

As usual, Bill Warren and his staff took great care of us as we hosted this month’s Interest Social. All told we we had 10 guests in attendance of which 5 (2 of which weren’t even there for our event but met us and liked us) saw fit to join the BFCS on the spot (we’re sure the others will join us soon enough). In addition, a big thanks to Marnie, Ray, and Kirk for coming out to spend some time with us and to help us welcome our newest members to the club. The BFCS officially welcomes Don K, Monsell N, Beryl W, Dominique B, and Terry H.
