Learn MoreOn Saturday, March 13, 2010 The Blue Flame Cigar Society took over the patio at The Blue Martini at City North. Dallas made sure we felt welcomed and we look forward to hosting out there again in the near future. We also would like to welcome Kerwin (KD) Danley to our organization…he came, he saw, he joined!
On Wednesday, February 24, 2010, we were afforded the awesome opportunity to be a part of a benefit for the Joyner Walker Foundation. This organization provides financial literacy for underserved youth in our community. We donated a beautiful Don Salvatore Humidor (Thanks to Rich at Stogie Cutter) and held a raffle for the humidor to benefit the foundation. We were able to raise money for the foundation and grow our membership by three; in the process. Here’s a big welcome to Mel Carter, Todd Guinn, and Zachary Guinn! Please visit www.joynerwalkerfoundation.org to find out more about the Joyner Walker Foundation and see how you can help!
On Friday, February 12, 2010 Lincoln and his beautiful wife Patricia hosted the BFCS for our 3rd member-hosted event. This event was extra special given it was Lincoln’s birthday and the start of Valentine’s Day weekend. There was great food, great drinks, great birthday cake, great fellowship, and of course…great cigars! Stay tuned for where we will be next! By the way, Alberto is the winner of the 5 day, 4 night trip to Cancun…and last but not least, join us in welcoming our newest member…Chris Amato! We are growing!
On Tuesday, January 12, 2010 we were treated to a great experience at Habanos Torres in downtown Mesa. In addition to the wealth of information Timothy Torres (Proprietor) was able to provide, he also held a cigar rolling demonstration for us. Throughout the evening we enjoyed some of his fine cigars…starting at 15 year old tobacco all the way up to 50 year aged tobacco…Talk about smooth!
We also conducted out 1st cigar swap so the members could have the opportunity to experience the cigars that their fellow members enjoy. Well, needless to say, we can’t wait till the next event…Stay tuned!
On Saturday, December 19th, Kirk and Sophia Dewberry hosted our 1st Annual Chrismas Party at their beautiful home in Gilbert. Members came from all over the valley to enjoy a night of great food, drinks, fellowship, and of course…Cigars. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
